Russell McVeagh advised Auckland Airport on a NZD1.2 billion capital raising, designed to maintain its capitalisation during the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated tightening of border controls. The transaction, effected within a tight timeframe, represented the largest secondary offering in New Zealand history.
