The team has a very strong presence in the market and long experience from giving clients strategic advice in the structuring of deals and the negotiations of transactions. The team is involved in the development of the Swedish financial market and closely monitors current market trends, participants in the market, political initiatives and legislation issues. By being involved in the market development and the legal development, the team can add value to clients by being proactive.

The Finance & Restructuring team has a strong focus on financial institutions, split between the main areas of banks, securities dealers, insurance companies and pension funds. The team actively works in all of these industrial sectors and keeps a high degree of knowledge about market development. The team is well known for its ability to coordinate and lead large and complex transactions. The lawyers in the practice regularly act as lead counsel in multi-jurisdictional transactions, drawing on their close relationship with top-tier firms throughout the rest of Europe.
