The real estate team makes a key department in our business, continuously serving several of our larger clients and managing larger transactions. The team offers extensive industry knowledge and expertise, partner availability and a high level of client attention. With a smaller team, we are able to win larger mandates and clients, while retaining a boutique firm experience of partner-led cases, handled with high quality in an efficient manner.
We have a broad client base, spanning from private equity projects, syndicated real estate projects to public and private companies. The real estate team works with transactional work, on seller and buyer side, including due diligence, negotiations, drafting and project management. Additionally, the team provides general advice in connection with our clients’ properties and assists with complex real estate disputes in cooperation with our litigation department (more recently on a series of real estate disputes relating to the Norwegian state’s expropriation of property in connection with rearrangement of the communication infrastructure in Oslo (E18)). While drawing on the top tier expertise of our insolvency/restructuring department, the team also has extensive experience with real estate matters in insolvency scenarios.
