An impressive set of chambers housing a strong bench of barristers, Radcliffe Chambers is noted for its expert handling of a wide range of property and affairs matters. Howard Smith
Experienced Court of Protection specialist who practises mainly in property and affairs but is also adept at handling health and welfare matters. He is particularly active in cases concerning deputyships, best interests and securing healthcare funding.

Justin Holmes
Leading Court of Protection junior who is particularly good at lasting and enduring powers of attorney, contested deputyships and applications for declarations of capacity. Instructions come from a broad range of sources, including the Public Trustee, private clients and the Official Solicitor. He is also adept at handling professional negligence claims.

Katherine McQuail
Has a good reputation for her work in mental capacity matters, and has been involved in cases relating to property, statutory wills and enduring powers of attorney. She works for a broad range of clients, and receives a number of instructions from the Official Solicitor. She offers additional ability in complex cases involving inheritance and trusts and is further noted for her particular strength in mediation.

Piers Feltham
Strong practitioner who remains a top choice for clients faced with a range of Court of Protection matters. He is particularly active on cases concerning the validity of powers of attorney and statutory wills. He is regularly instructed by the Official Solicitor, private clients and deputies.
