James Newton-Price QC

An impressive performer who has over two decades of criminal advocacy experience on the Western Circuit. His practice includes acting in drugs, robbery, money laundering and historic sex offence cases, as well as leading the set's crime and regulatory team. He has also acted in conspiracy to commit armed robbery claims and multimillion-pound conspiracies to defraud.

Recent work: Acted for the first defendant, the elder of two brothers, charged with the murder and robbery of a drug dealer.


Sarah Jones QC

Has a strong reputation for her broad criminal expertise and demonstrates considerable strengths in multi-complainant sexual offence matters and historic claims of sexual abuse. She also has expertise in violent offences including kidnapping and aggravated burglary. She receives praise for her talent for dealing with vulnerable witnesses or defendants.
Strengths: "Her speeches are just brilliant and she is devastating in cross-examinations."
Recent work: Acted for the defendant in R v Dyson, a case involving a domestic violence-related murder.
