PPO Indacochea's practice in Energy matters, which implements a fully integrated approach drawing on the experience and knowledge of professionals from various practice areas, provides counseling to clients with the intention of investing in energy projects, obtaining financing, acquiring and selling assets, and participating in Public bidding processes to develop – in agreement with the State and state companies -large- scale renewable and non-renewable projects. For example, our team has advised clients of the stature of Ingener, Teranov, TSK, Rosatom, among others, regarding public procurement processes in Bolivia.

Our team also advises clients in the sector regarding regulatory matters and has extensive experience advising regarding investigative and control processes, and sponsors them in sanctioning processes followed by the Electricity and Nuclear Technology Control Authority.

PPO Indacochea counsels national and international companies in the oil and gas industry in all aspects related to their operations in Bolivia, including the negotiation of exploration agreements and service/operation contracts with the state-owned Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB), the obtaining and renewing authorizations and permits from regulators and authorities, negotiating the sale of assets, conducting due diligence processes, reviewing and negotiating joint ventures, farm-in and farm-out contracts, corporate advice, regulatory advice and participation in public tenders.
