Overview

Payne Hicks Beach has a longstanding reputation for providing top quality comprehensive private client advice.

We act for individuals, families, family offices/businesses, estates, trusts, trustees, educational establishments, museums and charities. We also advise ultra high net worth clients from the UK and internationally (many of whom feature in The Sunday Times Rich List, Forbes 400 and the Arabian Business Rich List), non-domiciled families on the numerous tax changes that have been introduced and some of the UK’s oldest and largest estates.

We aim to build long term relationships with clients and, for families, these often span several generations.

We advise on a wide range of issues. A core element of our work is helping clients to preserve and manage their wealth for their own benefit and for that of future generations. Another key area is cross-border estate planning and probate, and trusts including probate disputes.

While many of our clients are based in the UK, a significant number are overseas or have overseas interests.  We advise on a variety of offshore and international matters, including advising on tax aspects of pre/post-nuptial agreements and structuring of divorce settlements.

We have partners able to communicate in several languages, and with our many connections with lawyers outside the UK we are experienced in coordinating tax and legal advice from different countries.  We also liaise with other professional advisers to provide a seamless service.
