Our Energy & Natural Resources practice represents some of the country's most important electric generation, transmission and distribution companies. Our attorneys are familiar with energy contracting and have taken part in the design and execution of some of the most important transactions carried out during the previous years in Peru.

Furthermore, the firm regularly advises investors in bidding processes relate to concessions, privatizations, unsolicited proposals (private initiatives), public-private partnerships, management and consulting contracts, and in all other forms of interaction between the private and public sectors in connection to the development of electrical transmission lines, power plants, among others.

In this sector, the firm provides legal counsel to Enel one of the largest private generators in Peru; (Enel Generación Perú S.A.A. and Enel Generación Piura S.A.; as well as other subsidiaries of Italy’s Enel S.p.A.)

Also, our firm counsels Conelsur LT S.A.C., part of the Chilean Energy Group Transelec. Conelsur LT began its operation of transmission lines in Peru in 2016. Currently we counsel Transelec in two bidding processes for the adjudication of concessions of transmission lines.

We also counsel Termochilca S.A., a private power company that uses natural gas as fuel, in its litigation with an electricity distribution provider.
