Our Corporate Finance Practice is a highly experienced team advising on a full spectrum of financing matters, including due diligence, structuring, documentation, negotiation, security perfection, and debt restructuring and recovery. Led by Damilola Adetunji, the team is recognised for handling complex, high-value and cross-border transactions, delivering commercially focused and innovative solutions in Nigeria’s evolving financial landscape.

We advise a diverse and sophisticated client base, including international and development finance institutions, commercial banks, governments and their agencies, as well as leading oil and gas companies and multinational corporations. Our clients include Africa Finance Corporation, African Export-Import Bank, and Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij voor Ontwikkelingslanden N.V. (FMO), reflecting our strong reputation among top-tier lenders and market participants.

Our experience includes advising on a US$650 million reserve-based lending facility to Oando Petroleum and Natural Gas Limited for the acquisition of interests in OMLs 60–63, a syndicated acquisition facility involving multi-lender coordination and complex structuring, advisory roles to security trustees on facilities valued at approximately NGN592.2 million, and a US$55 million facility to First Exploration and Petroleum Development Company Limited provided by Schlumberger to refinance debt and support working capital needs.
