Norton Rose Fulbright advised Inter-American Development Bank on a USD85 million partial credit guarantee. The deal formed part of a large 'debt-for-nature' refinancing wherein USD1.628 billion of Ecuadorian international bonds were retired in favour of a USD656 million loan on better terms, with the savings to be invested in marine conservation projects in the Galápagos Islands.
