About

Provided by Norton Rose Fulbright

Our strength lies in our multidisciplinary and international breadth and experience. Our restructuring and insolvency lawyers handle the most complex assignments worldwide, both within a particularly country, and cross-border. The expansion of our practice over recent years means we now have one of the largest and most experienced international teams in the market.

We have a particularly significant presence in the US market, and our Financial Restructuring and Insolvency group is also able to call on the experience of our global teams in the fields of banking and finance, corporate, M&A and securities, employment and labor, real estate, and tax.

We advise on all aspects of both contentious and non-contentious financial restructuring and insolvency matters, with particular emphasis on complex, cross-border cases.

Our areas of experience include complex loan restructurings; committee representations; pre-packaged, pre-negotiated and traditional plans; bankruptcy and insolvency litigation; valuation and solvency proceedings; municipal bankruptcy and insolvency; debtor-in-possession and exit financings; executory contracts, leases, intellectual property licenses, and forward, swap and trading contracts; international bankruptcy and insolvency cases, international insolvency arbitration, and cross border recognition proceedings; sale and purchase of distressed assets; sale and purchase of distressed debt and portfolio sales; and lender liability disputes.
