We have participated in several groundbreaking projects, with particular expertise in public-private partnerships (“PPPs”), representing lenders, strategic and financial investors, sponsors, sellers and buyers and numerous Mexican and non-Mexican government entities, including the Mexican Federal Government and several state governments and municipalities.
We have experience dealing with all stages and aspects of a project, from its inception through its financing and full implementation and operation, including legislative matters, risk-related workshops, drafting public bid guidelines, preparing proposals, EPC and O&M contracts, coordinating with technical and financial advisors, sponsoring and preparing clarifications meetings, evaluating suppliers and investors under bidding processes, reviewing awarding mechanisms, and consulting on contract awards and appeals.
Our team is a market leader in the provision of legal services for project finance transactions in Mexico. We have advised financial institutions, construction and management consortia, equipment suppliers and holders of concessions for the delivery of public services.
