About
Provided by Mishcon de Reya LLP
Our planning and environmental group helps developers, occupiers, investors and public sector bodies to manage increasingly complex legislation and regulatory policy across a broad spectrum of strategic matters. Our work covers both public and private sector projects, all asset classes including mixed-use projects.
Our team’s range of specialisms means we are uniquely placed to advise on large development schemes and complex planning issues. We also act for high net worth individuals on high-profile matters including basement development applications.
Knowing how to navigate both the rules and rule makers is vital. Hence the experts in our regulatory practice group are drawn also from across the real estate sector and include both lawyers and former regulators. We know the regulators, we understand how they work, and we take a pragmatic, hands-on approach to regulatory advice, compliance, negotiation, risk assessment and dispute resolution.
If it concerns planning, sustainability is now a key consideration. This is why we are the founding partner of Property Week's Get Set for Net Zero campaign.
