The Mintz Los Angeles Real Estate Practice provides comprehensive counsel on sophisticated transactional and financing work for real estate funds, sponsors and other investors, as well as occasional work for lenders. The team advises on joint ventures and other partnerships, financings, acquisitions, and dispositions, sale-leaseback transactions, and leasing matters. In addition the team advises on the federal income tax and California property tax and transfer tax aspects of real estate transactions and real estate-related investments, with significant experience structuring transactions for private real estate investment trusts (REITs) and tax-exempt investors.
