Trade Marks

Our trade marks team advises clients from all industry sectors on the registrability of branding, conducts searches to locate any potentially conflicting third-party rights, files and prosecutes trade mark applications and acts to resolve any disputes.

Design Registration and Protection

The designs group has internationally recognised expertise in handling the protection and enforcement of UK and European designs. We filed the first EU Community design application in 2003 and are the largest UK filer of design registrations.

IP Strategy

As well as advising on filing and prosecution strategies, we work with clients to manage their intellectual property effectively, helping to develop and implement strategies that maximise the quality and value of their IP.

IP Litigation and Dispute Resolution

Our IP litigators handle dispute proceedings in the English and German courts as well as managing multi-jurisdictional cases in Europe at the General Court and Court of Justice. We are also experts in acting before the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court.
