The Maples Group's dedicated insurance dispute, insurance coverage and professional negligence team is continuing to grow and advise insurers and their insured on a wide variety of claims and coverage issues as in previous submissions.

They are unique in that they have a number of previously qualified Barristers who are part of the team  who provide advocacy at hearings and motions as part of a "one-stop shop" for clients seeking dispute resolution services.

The team take a much more hands on role in deciding case strategy and in drafting case documents including Court pleadings, witness statements and legal submissions than is traditionally adopted by our competitors in our market.

They focus on professional indemnity and specifically the professional indemnity liabilities of insurance brokers and their responsibilities to clients and insurers.

They advise our clients on EO, DO, product liability, employer's liability and contractors all risk.
