Banking and Finance 

The Maples Group's Banking and Finance team advise on complex financing structures including loan-on-loan transactions, fund-based financings and prime brokerage structures. They also advise on a full range of bilateral and syndicated financing transactions, including real estate investment facilities, real estate development facilities, corporate debt facilities and leveraged acquisition facilities. 

The team act on the main panels for large transactions for all of the major domestic Irish banks and prominent international banks. 

They have extensive experience working alongside the large UK and US law firms as local counsel on cross-border financing transactions and, increasingly, with other European jurisdictions including Luxembourg, France, Germany and the Isle of Man. 

The Banking and Finance team are leaders in funds-based financing, working closely with our Funds, Tax and Property Groups and, in relation to development facilities, our Projects and Construction Group.
