The Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution department of the firm services the contentious requirements of numerous clients, both local and foreign, and is fully equipped to assist all its clients when recourse is made not only before the Courts of Justice, but also before various administrative tribunals and boards such as the Public Contracts Review Board, the Environment and Planning Review Tribunal, the Administrative Tribunal and the Industrial Tribunal.

Our firm prides itself in having a wide general and specialist practice. The partners and associates within this departments each have experience in specific areas of the law, ensuring that any dispute – from a property   issue between neighbours to a multi-million international business claim – can be addressed by litigators with a background in the field.  In fact, the firm is engaged in various areas of practice in the litigation sphere covering civil and family law, general commercial law, insurance, public procurement, bank finance (it represents two of Malta’s leading consumer banks), environment and planning, ship and aircraft arrests, debt collection, employment law and the enforcement of foreign judgments in Malta.

The firm also has extensive experience in the sphere of mediation and arbitration, enabling disputes to be resolved expediently and in a more informal and confidential environment.
