The Regulatory, Environment & Real Estate (RER) department of Lydian is one of the prominent practices on the Belgian market. Advising both companies and governments on administrative, environmental and real estate law, the RER department is involved in projects, transactions, investments and litigation. The focus lies on cross-over niche clients and files, such as PPP/PFI, government organization and investments, etc. Recent work includes the construction of the new Brussels HQ for BNP Paribas Fortis, advising the Brussels transport authority MIVB-STIB on several important tender procedures (rolling stock, infra, services), advising several not for profit organisations on the construction of a new revalidation center, assisting Elia, the Belgian transport system operator, in procurement litigation, etc.
