Overview

Luthi+Co., of the Luthi+Webb group, is a boutique law firm established in 1986 by Richard Luthi which specializes in Intellectual Property litigation.

While the firm’s expertise encompasses all areas of Intellectual Property litigation, it is particularly renowned both in Israel and abroad for its patent litigation practice.

The litigation department is headed by Richard Luthi, considered by many to be Israel’s leading patent litigator.

For more than 30 years, the firm has been involved in many of the most important IP cases in Israel and has been instrumental in establishing Israeli Intellectual Property jurisprudence.

The firm has extensive experience and expertise in handling complex IP cases in various fields such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, aerospace, high-tech, consumer products, etc., and also benefits from the fact that many members of the team also hold scientific degrees as well as advanced business degrees.

Among the firm's clients are many major multinational and domestic companies. The firm also frequently represents start-up companies and individual inventors.

The firm is also well known outside Israel, as we have been frequently retained to assist and advise clients on patent litigation matters abroad, for example in the US, UK, EPO, and other jurisdictions.

In 2018 we joined forces with Webb & Co., a top boutique firm of patent attorneys to establish the Luthi+Webb Group, which offers both litigation and prosecution services of the highest quality.
