The Linklaters Latin America Banking & Finance practice advises leading domestic and international banks, and “multilatinas” operating in Latin America on the full spectrum of banking, capital markets and project finance matters. This includes advising on: export credit facilities and secured and unsecured facilities; bilateral and syndicated financings; margin loans; sale and lease-backs; acquisition financing; structured loans; sovereign and government-owned enterprise loans; equity, debt and liability management; project financing and project acquisition/divestment transactions. The team has the ability to handle all financing needs, either via banking products or capital markets. The team offers native and fluent Portuguese and Spanish language capabilities under both New York and English law, coupled with a permanent on-the-ground presence in Brazil.
