Work highlights

Latham & Watkins assisted Nasdaq-listed company Amgen with acquiring a 20.5% stake in China-headquartered biotechnology company BeiGene, as well as its collaboration arrangement in relation to product commercialisation.

Latham & Watkins advised a buyer consortium, including multinational conglomerate Tencent, on the privatisation of US-listed Bitauto.

Latham & Watkins acted for Silver Lake Partners on its acquisition of a USD1 billion minority stake in Reliance Retail Ventures, a retail business operator based in India.

Latham & Watkins represented ARA Asset Management in its USD1.3 billion joint buyout, together with Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing, of Kenedix, one of Japan's leading real estate fund managers.
