The tax department constitutes the area of specialization which, traditionally has characterized professional services of KPMG Abogados. We are also very strong in European tax matters, and have advised or co-advised large IBEX-35 clients in tax litigation procedures of maximum relevance, both in the European Union Court of Justice as well as general courts. We have also acted as advisors to some of the most important professional associations in fields such as telecommunications, banking and renewable energies, in procedures involving the European Commission.
We regularly provided advisory services to 80% of the companies on the IBEX-35,numerous listed companies, foreign multinationals with ownership interests in Spain and important Spanish family businesses.

We are a well know firm in relation to transfer pricing issues with probably the largest department in this area. It is composed for more than 60 professionals in two offices (Madrid and Barcelona) with a multidisciplinary profile of economists and tax professionals.
