The Employment Law practice at KSB advises a wide range of high profile domestic and international clients on the full spectrum of employment law, both transactional and advisory, in the Czech Republic. Our expertise and experience have long been recognised by the Employment Law Alliance which, after significant due diligence on the practice of employment law in the country, selected us as its exclusive Czech member firm many years ago.

Our main areas of focus include the conclusion and termination of standard employment agreements; agreements for managers and senior management (including service agreements in relation to parallel performance as a member of a statutory body and as an employee); wWork assignments (secondments); agency employment; the preparation and implementation of employee and managerial incentive remuneration systems; employment aspects of business transfers (outsourcing, insourcing, asset deal); relations with trade union organisations/employee councils and workplace injury-related matters.

Our employment practice is complemented by our tax advisory capability. We advise on the taxation of employees and members of statutory bodies. We counsel our clients on the tax regime around employer costs - such as those relating to reimbursement for travel expenses, social security and health insurance, including EU rules on participation of migrating persons in the national insurance system.
