About

Provided by Kegler, Brown, Hill & Ritter

Our employment law attorneys advise clients on complex issues related to managing employees and the workplace, including local, state and federal regulations. We assist clients in developing and implementing an employee relations program that is tailored to their unique needs. This program will then provide a strong foundation from which to manage – and improve – the organization’s core business, while maintaining a positive and productive environment. Through training, we assist our clients in implementing and modifying their employee relations strategy on an ongoing, as-needed basis.

We have an excellent track record of representing clients before state and federal equal employment agencies and court litigation, as well as in arbitration, in both individual and class action disputes. Our broad experience includes successful defense of claims of wrongful termination, sexual harassment, all forms of discrimination and retaliation, and claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Our employment litigators have a record of winning summary judgment in wrongful termination, discrimination and retaliation cases, and we regularly represent clients in the enforcement of non-competition agreements, engaging in a high volume of non-compete litigation in Ohio courts.

Our employment attorneys represent employers in all aspects of traditional collective bargaining and union interactions. For non-union employers, we assist in issues relating to union organizing campaigns and union elections.
