We regularly represent clients before all the relevant state and federal courts and regulatory agencies, including the STB, USDOT, the FRA, the Federal Transit Administration, the Railroad Retirement Board, the PHMSA, and the National Transportation Safety Board, on high stakes matters.

Our experience includes advising on some of the most significant and high value regulatory matters in the rail industry, working on numerous prominent passenger railroad transactions, and advising regional and short line freight railroads, national passenger and freight railroads, and light rail transit systems. We have particular expertise in the transportation of hazardous materials by rail, and compliance with corresponding regulations enforced by the PHMSA and FRA.
