HEP LAW is the Brunei branch office of leading Singapore law firm, Harry Elias Partnership.

Understanding the advantages of having on-the-ground-local knowledge, Harry Elias Partnership established its Brunei office in 2012 and is committed to supporting the country in its legal and economic development. HEP LAW is currently led by our local partner Roslyna Latif. To further supplement HEP LAW’s expertise, Managing Partner Philip Fong and Partners Tan Chau Yee, Justin Chia and Andy Lem, who are based in Singapore, have also been called to the Brunei Bar. They regularly shuttle between Singapore and Brunei Darussalam to share their legal experience.

Our team can provide full-service capability with an emphasis on corporate, employment, intellectual property and regulatory compliance. We are on the panel of bespoke government-linked companies and government ministries and departments and have also handled significant civil and commercial litigation cases.

Harry Elias Partnership has advised government-linked companies in Brunei Darussalam, including state-owned entities on various projects for many years. These include the strategic development of hydrocarbon assets and associated infrastructure, including partnerships, special economic zone, and JVs with international investors.
