GDSLK's Trade Practice Group is best known for representing foreign producers/exporters, foreign governments, and U.S. importers in U.S. antidumping (ADD) and countervailing duty (CVD) proceedings (initial investigations, annual reviews, sunset reviews, scope, and anticircumvention inquiries) before the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), and representing our clients before the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT) and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) on appeal. Our practice also includes careful business planning to enable our clients to avoid and minimize ADD/CVD and other trade remedy liability. Since the 1980s, when our Group was formed by senior partners, Bruce Mitchell and Max Schutzman, who remain active today, we have represented clients in multiple industries and from multiple countries.
