Our Public Finance team provides public, project and economic development insights and advice to borrowing entities, banks and numerous state, county, and local governmental entities throughout our footprint, including the counties, cities and school districts of Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Texas, and West Virginia, as well as numerous other states across the country. We have experience with all interrelated areas of infrastructure finance, including municipal finance, economic development and redevelopment, real estate finance, securitizations, and public-private partnerships.

We regularly serve as bond counsel for governmental entities and political subdivisions involving all types of general obligation bonds, bond anticipation notes and revenue anticipation notes. We also act as underwriter’s counsel on many bond issues, even outside the ___ states where we have offices. In our roles as both bond counsel and underwriter’s counsel, we deal with issues affecting tax-exempt and taxable bonds.

Our attorneys have experience working with virtually every major national, regional, and local commercial and investment banking firm, in additional to numerous state and local governments who serve as issuers, sponsors, or public-private partners.
