We represent landowners, corporations, and individuals in a wide array of environmental matters, including those involving environmental contamination, groundwater contamination, land loss suits against pipeline operators, personal injury, permit disputes, regulatory remediation, eminent domain/expropriation, CERLA, the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the Groundwater Act, and the Safe Drinking Water Act. We regularly represent clients in court as well as in regulatory proceedings. Our cases often relate to industrial disasters, regulatory enforcement proceedings, contamination, industry-induced coastal erosion and land loss, contractual disputes, and trespass issues.

Our team handles highly technical cases that require a great deal of scientific and operational understanding. The firm recently represented a large landowner in requiring a former oil/gas lessee to plug and abandon over 40 gas wells and remove abandoned oil/gas equipment from its lands. We are currently representing over 30 plaintiffs in a suit against a major oil company regarding environmental contamination that has resulted in a “cancer cluster.” The firm is actively handling erosion and land loss cases across the state against pipeline companies to combat the loss of Louisiana’s vital wetlands.
