Fieldfisher’s medical negligence team in the Northwest is recognised for its expertise in handling maximum severity clinical negligence cases. The team supports clients across the Northwest and the wider North.
The team is frequently instructed when medical care has gone seriously wrong, and the consequences are life-changing, particularly in cases involving complex neurological injury, including cerebral palsy and other brain or spinal injuries, as well as wrongful birth and fatal claims. Matters are progressed through detailed investigation, using independent medical expert evidence where needed, and a forward-looking approach to quantifying long-term needs.
Clients are offered free initial advice, and claims are often run on a no-win no-fee basis. Where appropriate, the team pursues interim payments to fund early rehabilitation and support, including care, therapies, specialist equipment and accommodation, helping clients recover and plan for the future while the claim progresses.
