The firm was founded by Richard Egan and Jim Meyer in 2023 (both top ranked in the independent legal guides Chambers and The Legal 500) and together have 50 years of criminal law experience acting in some of the most serious and high profile criminal investigations ever brought before the courts in England.

Egan Meyer have recently acted for well-known clients such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Kyle Walker, as well as a number of famous individuals who do not wish their matter to be in the public eye. We are defending several clients in historic prosecutions of soldiers in allegations of murder in Northern Ireland during the troubles. We are also retained by a premiership football club to provide advice and assistance, as well as a number of well-known water and energy companies facing criminal investigations by the Environment Agency and police..
