In the last year, ECIJA Ecuador opened two new branches in the most industrialised and fastest growing city in Ecuador (Manta and Cuenca), and in the last four years we have almost tripled the number of lawyers in the firm from 24 to 60.

Our work has attracted the attention of foreign companies further afield entering in the Ecuadorian market, particularly from China who are looking for acquisitions in the sector.

With new hires and with our new offices in all major cities of Ecuador, we are well positioned to cater to a growing energy sector, particularly with the new goal set by the government to increase energy production from 500,000 barrels a day to 1 million, backed by a new investment secretariat.
