Debevoise’s European Tax practice is led by a strong team in London. It identifies the key issues in play and creates thoughtful solutions that are communicated in clear terms.

The practice is one of the few European teams able to field a team of senior lawyers qualified in the U.S. and UK. The team frequently works alongside the firm’s Tax practice in the U.S. on international mandates, and also works with local counsel in other jurisdictions. The group has particular experience in structuring multijurisdictional acquisitions, private equity and hedge fund formations, joint ventures, bankruptcies and restructurings, financings, capital markets, investments, and multi-jurisdictional tax planning.
