Debevoise has a comprehensive real estate group that handles large and complex property acquisitions and real estate investments.   • Acquisitions and sales of trophy office buildings, shopping centers, apartment and other residential buildings and hotels, as well as manufacturing facilities and industrial warehouses.
  • Investments in companies that own, operate and develop real property inside and outside of the U.S., through JV vehicles or as cornerstone investors in newly-formed REITs.
  • Innovative financings for lenders and borrowers such as fee and leasehold mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, b-notes, participation interests, securitized real estate loans and preferred equity investments, and the purchase and sale of such loans (including non-performing loans) on the secondary market.
  • Workouts and restructurings of real estate investments, both inside and outside of bankruptcy, for lenders and borrowers alike.
  • Sophisticated sale-leaseback transactions and commercial leases.
