The team offers a full range of advisory, assistance and representation services to distressed companies or their shareholders. We assist listed and non-listed companies and their shareholders to implement a reorganization plan and/or renegotiate their debts, with solutions ranging from workout agreements or pre-packs to sauvegarde and rehabilitation plans. In addition, our firm is regularly consulted by French and foreign industrial investors for assistance in preparing and presenting offers to acquire companies that have filed for bankruptcy, or to protect their rights in case of failure of a supplier or subcontractor.

Increasingly, debt restructurings are accompanied by a corporate reorganization and a change in governance rules/structures, as well as by disposals of subsidiaries and/or other lines of business or assets.

The close cooperation between the Restructuring/Insolvency team and the firm’s other departments is one of our core strengths. In a growing number of cases, we mobilize a multi-disciplinary team in which experienced financial restructuring or insolvency practitioners are supported by partners from the Corporate – M&A (Distressed M&A), Finance, Employment Law and Competition/Antitrust practices.
