• The department is extremely experienced in claims arising from clinical trials, including the Northwick Park TGN 1412 trial that resulted in the reform of Phase 1 trials
• We advise clients across many sectors on manufacturing and safety regulations before they place their products on the market. We have also managed successful recalls of goods across the globe that have numbered in the millions
• We also advise on policy coverage issues. Simon Pearl and Alison McAdams advised AstraZeneca as regards reinsurance recoveries in the Seroquel litigation. Wendy Hopkins and Stephen Turner successfully defended Zurich in respect of their potential liability in the toxic sofa litigation
