DACB's IP team is best known for intellectual property advice to novel tech businesses, medtech, media and brand management.

The team’s work includes advising synthetic media and AI clients, cryptocurrency.  We continue to advise on high profile media licensing and disputes, including licensing work for Royal Mail, IP advice for Aardman Animations and brand management for a range of clients.

The team is also one of the few outside London to conduct high value patent litigation, in particular for medtech and medical devices, including the High Court patent dispute between Fisher & Paykel and Flexicare over medical ventilator technology.
