Cripps has a highly respected residential property team that acts for HNW individuals, developers and landlords buying or selling high value residential property and land. This includes agricultural and rural estates; new developments and off plan units. Our clients are both domestic and international.

As a firm we operate out of two offices, Tunbridge Wells and London. Our teams often work together for the same clients as we do not allocate work based on office location, but rather by finding the right skills for our client’s needs.

In addition to ‘standard’ residential conveyancing, we advise residential landlords on their planning, development, construction and real estate finance matters. Our residential team works alongside our property dispute resolution team who act for residential landlords in relation to recovery of possession, collection of arrears and on enfranchisement litigation as well as for individuals in relation to boundary disputes, right to light matters, etc. We often consult with them for expert opinion on those issues within the contract of our resi transactional work. We also work closely with our commercial property team who deal with the commercial property aspects of some client portfolios.
