Control Risks’ Discovery + Data Insights team handles complex, cross-border discovery, digital forensics, data analytics and litigation support work for law firms, corporates, financial institutions, investors and government-related clients. The team supports matters across the dispute and investigation lifecycle, including data mapping, forensic collection, preservation, processing, hosting, analytics, managed review, production, information governance, legal hold, cyber incident response and AI-enabled review.

Recent work highlights include supporting a foreign government in UK, US, Brazil and Argentina proceedings involving legacy tape restoration and rolling disclosures; managing a complex UK/South Africa disclosure exercise for Shepstone & Wylie; and confidential matters involving AI startups, multinational corporates, financial misconduct investigations, FCPA-related reviews and large-scale disclosure exercises. The team specialises in RelativityOne, digital forensics, structured and unstructured data analytics, custom technology development, AI review workflows, PII analysis, cross-border data handling, defensible disclosure processes and high-pressure, multi-jurisdictional investigations.
