About
Provided by CMS
We have a team of 8 lawyers dealing exclusively with competition law issues. This enables us to provide high quality advice on projects requiring the commitment of considerable resources (complex audits) or a quick response (short deadlines in proceedings before competition authorities or courts).
Our practice is not limited to antitrust law and merger control. We advise on all aspects of broadly understood competition law, including unfair competition, consumer legislation, public procurement and state aid. In this capacity, we represent clients in proceedings both before the President of the Polish Competition Authority and the European Commission.
We work with multi-national companies and leading brand owners, providing advice on both “one-off” complex legal matters that require a high level of expertise as well as on compliance related issues associated with their day-to-day commercial activities. Our clients also include Polish companies and local government entities (Poland’s largest cities and municipalities).
Our advisory offer
We understand that the key to success is acute awareness of the specific characteristics of the sectors in which our clients operate, which allows us to address the specific competition law issues that are particular to these industries. In this respect, we advise clients from the:
- Consumer products sector
- Energy sector
- Pharmaceutical sector
- Telecommunications and new technologies sector
