Foreign desks The Singapore office is well known for advising foreign lenders on the development and financing of power projects in Vietnam, with particular experience in EPC contracts. The team assists both project companies and international lenders. Key Singapore personnel assisted with advising Bangkok Bank on its USD150 million financing of a photovoltaic solar power project in Vietnam. Nicholas Wong is a key client contact for Vietnam work.

The firm also has considerable expertise in Malaysia's energy and infrastructure sector, advising on project finance and capital markets deals. The team advised Aabar Investments PJS, which is a subsidiary of International Petroleum Investment Company, on its USD149 million sell-down of shares in RHB Bank.
