Caspian Legal Center’s legal practice mainly covers corporate and commercial law, foreign investment and market entry, major projects, regulatory matters, employment, banking and finance, public procurement and dispute resolution. The practice primarily advises foreign businesses, including multinational and Fortune Global 500 companies and international organisations, as well as domestic businesses and public entities. CLC has advised more than 100 foreign businesses and international organisations from over 40 jurisdictions on their operations and investments in Azerbaijan.

The practice has particular experience in infrastructure and construction, energy and natural resources, including oil and gas and renewables, financial services, technology, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing and consumer goods. CLC has substantial experience in construction and infrastructure projects. The firm has reviewed construction contracts with a total value of approximately USD 5 billion and advised on FIDIC-based engineering, procurement and construction projects.

Recent work includes public transport infrastructure and construction projects, renewable energy projects, oil and gas operations under PSA frameworks, and complex commercial disputes, including the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards. The team also advises on matters involving state authorities and has participated in legislative and regulatory reform initiatives.
