The Tax and Customs department is best known for analysing tax strategies for foreign companies with operations in Guatemala and for resolving complex tax conflicts.  The Department focuses on giving prompt legal support to companies in the following areas:

• Planning and structuring tax relationships.
• Prevention and settlement of tax disputes.
• Analyzing the best taxpayer regimes in Guatemala for companies and individuals. 

Our approach to tax matters considers inbound and outbound consequences for the execution of complex corporate and trust holding structures as well as a full approach of estate and trust administration, estate, gift and income taxation, charitable trusts, all forms of family trusts and private foundations, including private trust company and family office structures.
