Overview
We are one of the largest regional teams serving the social housing sector in the South of England, with 10 partners and over 50 housing practitioners working with the major housing associations. Nationally, Capsticks is the fastest growing housing firm in the country. In the South, our particular expertise lies in housing and leasehold management, asset management, development, corporate and securitisation, planning and construction.
Our housing advisory service assists housing providers to deliver excellent housing services in a challenging environment. We’ll inspire you by new ways of working, learning from good practice and avoiding the failings of the past. We deliver a range of practical and innovative solutions for clients across the country on a one to one or group basis.
Unlike many firms we have lawyers who are experts in leasehold and home ownership issues located across the country. We're leaders in residential leasehold work and have advised many housing providers on Tribunal applications, policies and procedures, and remedies available in the event of leaseholder default.
Our team advises on all aspects of housing management from the most serious ASB cases to complex succession disputes. We regularly undertake national cases or major tenancy and policy reviews, particularly on flexible tenure and tenancy renewal/termination. Our ethos is to work in partnership with clients to understand their requirements, and ensure they get value for money.
