Overview

Boontje Advocaten operates in a wide variety of sectors and industries and include employers (both multinational and medium-sized businesses), managing directors, works councils, interest groups, employees (mostly white collar) and self-employed entrepreneurs.

Boontje Advocaten aims to provide more than a legal practice that focuses on dispute resolution and
employment law challenges. Paul Boontje, the firm’s name-giver, is also a (registered) mediator. Wouter Hes, one of the firm’s other partners, provides (employment law) coaching in addition to his legal practise.

Boontje Advocaten applies the Employment Law Plus Formula. Besides having a general knowledge of employment law, each lawyer focuses on one or more particular related areas of expertise. Thanks to this specialization, the lawyers can offer clients a broad range of services. Moreover, they also contribute to the public debate, for example by publishing articles and participating in working groups that advise the government on legislative bills.

The business areas of the clients are: Banks, Charities/Not for profit, Chemicals, Commercial & Professional Services, Education, Health Care, Industrial Engineering, Media, Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences, Private Clients/Individuals, Software & Computer Services, Technology, Hardware & Electronics, Transportation, Travel & Leisure, Retail and NGO’s.
