Provided by BLP

BLP is known for representing a large number of multinational companies doing business in Central America. As a leader in the mergers and acquisitions field, BLP participates in some of the most important acquisitions, particularly on the buyers and lenders side.  Furthermore, BLP has participated in some of the most relevant private equity, venture capital and M&A in the region.

As part of this day to day advice, BLP drafts, reviews and negotiates contracts, terminations and addenda thereto, attends legal consultations on matters related to the operation of the companies on a daily basis; performs all the work related to the shareholders’ and board of director´s meetings and registries, as well as corporate governance matters. The attorneys involved in these matters also coordinate legal counseling with all other practice areas such as labor, intellectual property, consumer protection, insurance and regulatory law, among others.
