Our team, specialised in structured finance transactions on a project financing basis, works with a wide range of clients, including insurances, investment banks, funds, development and investing companies, multilaterals and sponsors, promoters, public administrations, contractors both Italian and international, in connection with financing and refinancing deals in the energy sector, both traditional and renewable, as well as in the infrastructure sector with a special focus on the realization and management of public and private works.

The interaction between corporate, regulatory, tax and public law with the different profiles of infrastructure and energy law implies continuous cross-practice cooperation.

We advise our clients on project financing transactions providing them the full-service assistance including, among others, drafting and negotiation of all project and finance documents, necessary to ensure the bankability of each deal, and the maintenance of high-performance financial structures.

We also carry out complex legal due diligence related to the above-mentioned activities in order to underline the current or potential critical aspects of the project guaranteeing the indication of possible mitigants or solutions to meet the defined goals.
