Partner José Alejandro Bermúdez, was Colombia's inaugural Data Protection Superintendent and helped shape the country's privacy framework, including the 2012 data-protection law, secondary regulations and the Colombian Privacy Accountability Guidelines. He is Advisor - LATAM to the Centre for Information Policy Leadership and the recepient of the IAPP Global Privacy Vanguard Award for Latin America in 2024, in recognition of his leadership in data protection.

Partner Carlos Esguerra brings more than 16 years of public- and private-sector experience. He led a specialized SIC team handling major cartel and bid-rigging investigations and has worked with the Colombian Communications Regulator, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and the Colombian Aeronautical Authority. His practice enables the firm to connect TMT advice with competition, economic regulation and consumer protection. The partners offer clients rare first-hand insight into enforcement priorities, direct senior attention and sophisticated advice.
