Investigations, Enforcement & Compliance

Our team includes former members of DOJ, several former Assistant U.S. Attorneys, and two former members of HHS-OCIG, the branch responsible for promulgating the modified safe harbors to the AKS. We counsel clients on civil and criminal exposure related to healthcare fraud and abuse allegations, including:

  • Alleged violations of various laws such as the Stark Law; AKS; & Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act
  • Investigations & litigation under the FCA
  • Internal compliance investigations
  • Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, & Risk Adjustment Compliance
  • Medicare & Medicaid compliance, governmental contractor audits, including MAC, RAC, ZPIC & UPIC audits
